Zynkosi Tech (Pty) Ltd is a South African technology group operating under the Zynkosi name. References to "we", "us" or "our" in this policy refer to the company and its subsidiary ventures.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you interact with our website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
When you submit a brief through our contact form we collect the name, work email, company, service area and message you provide. We collect this information to respond to your enquiry and assess whether we are a fit for the project.
When you browse the site we collect anonymous usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and referring source. This is used solely to understand which content is useful and to keep the site performant.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to respond to your brief, schedule a discovery call where appropriate and — if we engage — to draft a statement of work. We do not use it for unsolicited marketing.
Aggregate, anonymised usage data is used to improve the website and inform our content strategy. It is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
How we store and protect it
Personal information is stored on access-controlled systems hosted in South Africa and the European Union. We follow industry-standard practices for encryption-in-transit and at-rest, and review access on a quarterly basis.
We retain submitted briefs for up to 24 months unless we enter into a contract, after which retention is governed by the engagement agreement.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion at any time. Send requests to privacy@zynkositech.co.za and we will respond within 30 days.
This policy is governed by the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The most recent revision date is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active clients in writing.
